If you have ever found yourself with a frustratingly unanswerable question then AnyQuestionsAnswered is for you. Text your question to 63336 and you'll get an answer quick snap! Two friends came to visit zoe and i over the weekend and we asked AQA what we should do, they recommended a walk in the countryside to blow away the cobwebs and it turned out to be a jolly enjoyable stroll- thanks AQA!!! Could be much fun me thinks!
Well Mr Smith-some truly good stuff on this blog, well worth a read but please don't tell me it has come to this.....I need to ask someone and then pay to tell me what to do!?For future reference....when finding oneself at a loose end, a stroll always seems like a jolly good idea, gets the creative juices flowing!(£1 please)
Keep up the thought provoking!

Hi Phil
Glad you've stumbled upon AQA. It's a great service, and it is only limited by the imagination of the person using it!
I actually use 82ASK which I feel has the edge over AQA - in terms of service, reliablility and cost. Although 82ASK (text 8-2-2-7-5) also costs a pound a go, you only end up paying for the answer as opposed to the question. This might seem like a small point, but it works out in the favour of the user because if you don't get a satisfactory answer (rare), you don't pay. You can also ask them to clarify the answer without being charged.
I used to use AQA a lot in the past, and it is a good service. But I have found that of late, their answers aren't that reliable and sometimes they take AGES to get back to you.
What lured me to 82ASK was the fact that they have a £3 a week tariff which gives you unlimited answers. This works out well for the sort of q's I used to call up 118118 for, eg: "What time is the next train to Kingston from Waterloo?" or "What films are being shown at 8pm at the Leicester Square Odeon?". Also, 82ASK was the original text service of its kind and is miles ahead in terms of technology and customer understanding. They really do listen to feedback - something that AQA has traditionally been weak on doing.
Also, Stephen Fry swears by 82ASK - and he's one clever dude!
Great blog by the way... I've got it bookmarked, so you may see me pop up here again with another random comment!

Raxraxrax is also known as Rax Lakhani. He works for a PR company called Catalysis Communications Ltd and represent 82ASK's publicity department.
You can reach him on 0207 101 7328 or 07920 238338.
I suggest that his comments therefore, might be slightly biased, and would urge 82ASK to find a new PR consultant if this is the best way of generating publicity he can come up with.
