Not sure I agree with some of the things that Pete says in Liquid Church about our relationship with consumerism, but irrespective this is an amazing book that raises some crucial issues about how church relates to our flexible, consumer society. Really quality thought provoking stuff!
Prodigal Project
Prodigal Project is "written by and for those who love God but struggle to belong to the church" but it doesn't approach this issue cynically but hopefully and expectantly; bringing together theory and practise in a really accessible way. A must for those interested in alternative worship
